“I was in an utter state of chaos in regard to my physical health. As someone who suffers with ADHD, bulimia, major depressive disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder, I had extremely unhealthy and addictive coping mechanisms. I felt as if I was not in control of my body as I did not hold enough body awareness nor was I educated on the importance of the subject matter.
I feared change.
